A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rebsamen earned both his bachelor's and his master's degree from the University of Arkansas. He went on to receive his Ph.D. from Columbia University. Fascinated with history of long ago, Rebsamen has translated Old English poems and the epic Beowulf. Rebsamen now calls Arizona his home.
