John K. Ryan

Monsignor John Kenneth Ryan was born in Caledonia, MN on October 29, 1897, and received his education at St. Thomas Academy, St. Paul; Holy Cross College, American College of Rome, and the Catholic University of America. He was a professor of philosophy, and a member of the faculty of the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., since 1931 and served as dean of the School of Philosophy in 1960. He died December 26, 1981.
