Anni Matsick

Matsick earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University and has since done artwork for over twenty years for children's publishing.  As a freelance illustrator who specializes in traditional watercolor on paper, Matsick illustrates for Highlights for Children and has spent nine years dong the "Goofus and Gallant" feature.  Her work can also be found in numerous books, magazines, and on posters.  Known and respected for her ability to portray realistic human emotion, Matsick continues learning and refining her artistic gift.  A speaker at workshops, Matsick lives and works from her home in Pennsylvania.
