Andrew Pudewa

Andrew Pudewa

Having graduated from the Talent Education Institute in Japan and earning a Certificate of Child Brain Development from the Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential in Pennsylvania, Pudewa went on to teach in the classroom. While in Montana, he came across the Blended Sound-Sight Program of Learning. Intrigued, he ventured to Canada to take a course, met the author of the Blended Structure and Style Program, and returned to teach it. Pudewa was amazed by the success of the program, so he went back to Canada for more information and training. He then became part of the Canadian team and continues to work with James B. Webster to further enhance the Structure and Style learning approach.

Now serving as the director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing, Pudewa has greatly influenced the lives of many adults and students through his work. Explaining the components of writing in a straight-forward, simplistic manner with a quirky sense of humor, Pudewa encourages writers and non-writers alike to succeed. He travels all over North America, giving seminars, speaking at conventions and conferences, and teaching writing classes. Through it all, Pudewa has helped his wife raise and educate their seven children. He continues to do so from their home in California.
