Leo can’t do anything right. The other animals can read and write and draw, but Leo can’t. He can’t even talk. His father worries about him, but Leo’s mother warns him not to watch Leo, because “a watched bloomer doesn’t bloom.” Leo’s father tries not to watch Leo, but Leo doesn’t show signs of blooming. But one day, in his own good time, Leo bloomed! He could read and draw and write and talk! And what were his first words?
"I made it!"
