The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

Wotan, ruler of the gods, sends the beautiful Valkyrie, Brunnhilde, to earth to punish two mortals. But Brunnhilde, filled with sympathy for the lovers, disobeys and protects the unfortunate woman Sieglinde. For this Brunnhilde is sentenced to slumber within a circle of magic flames, to awake only at the coming of a noble hero.

In dramatic narrative and colorful pictures, enriched by musical quotations from the most famous scenes, these unique little volumes will delight all lovers of opera.
