An account of author/illustrator South African Kent Contrell's ten years of travel through Africa, heavily illustrated in 185 pencil sketches and 70 colour plates. Along with this book, he also published the volumes Sunburnt Sketches and More Than Sunburnt.
Please note that Cottrell does not shy away from nakedness in his drawings and paintings, though they are not sexually suggestive.
