Michael Oard

Born in Seattle, Washington, on September 23, 1945, Oard went on the earn his Bachelor of Science and his Masters of Science degrees from the University of Washington. One of his interests was weather, hence his degree in atmospheric science which led to his career at the National Weather Service as a lead forecaster and a meteorologist. Another interest compelled him to write books, such as Life in the Great Ice Age. This he co-authored with his wife Beverly. Oard firmly believes that Noah's Flood brought about the ensuing Ice Age. Since his retirement from the National Weather Service, Oard has embarked on a speaking career and has engaged many audiences with his knowledge and beliefs. He and his wife live in Montana.
