William F. Buckley Jr.

William Frank Buckley Jr. (WFB) (November 24, 1925 - February 27, 2008), was an American author, conservative journalist and commentator based in New York City. He founded the influential conservative political magazine National Review in 1955 and the award-winning television show Firing Line in 1966. Though he referred to himself as a libertarian, he was a very influential figure in the modern conservative movement.
