All the essentials are here—as well as helpful information about denominations, comparison charts delineating the most common eschatologies, and ideas about heaven. The basics are presented from an orthodox Protestant position, largely without commentary except to explain particularly complex concepts. While this is obviously an excellent reference for new believers, or even non-believers who simply want to learn more, it is equally useful for established Christians to cement already-held beliefs, or as an introduction to theology for high school students. Chapters are short, with plenty of illustrations, charts, and maps, making this a good reference while remaining accessible.
