Spanish language students and classes will enjoy these 28 fun-filled, entertaining songs written and sung by teacher and songwriter Elise Carr Sumner.

Viva La Musica was originally written for high school Spanish students, and all ages can enjoy the songs and learn from them. It comes with a free 61-page lyric booklet with the Spanish lyrics and English translation for each song. The songs range from those that teach numbers and basic phrases such as "How are you? and "What's your name?" to more sophisticated ones that teach advanced grammar.

The songs are appropriate for high school students during the first three years of study and college students during the first year and a half.

Dr. Karen Steves, a Spanish professor at Ball State University states, "Singing is a wonderful way to learn Spanish. Vocabulary, grammar and correct pronunciation are learned without painful memorization. Retention is greater, too. These songs are short, vocabulary-specific and fun."
