This colorful art book will inspire you and inject your homeschool art classes with renewed energy. If your art and craft classes have got boring, get this book. It's jampacked with over 400 art ideas, using paint, pastels, crayons, ink, various papers and other art mediums. I was suprised how easy and effective these projects were. Some of the projects did require special supplies, but "real art" usually does. There is still a lot to do with what the average homeschool has at hand and one can substitute in many activities. Each double page spread is richly illustrated in full color. The beginner is able to follow the step-by-step color pictures.
I've rated this book Four stars because of the tight binding on the spine that prevents the book from laying open. I have seen some newer editions in a binder and this is a welcome change.
