Uncle Mugsy is a confirmed bachelor -- bachelor bulldog, that is -- who lives in a very comfortable mansion without a care in the world. He's a lovable curmudgeon who, like W.C. Fields, has a distinct disaffection for children. His only companion is his faithful butler, Peeves, who sees to Mugsy's every worldly need. The romantic interest in our story is supplied by Mugsy's ladyfriend, the elegant and available Miss Margaret Dogmont.
