Tale of Benjamin Bunny

Tale of Benjamin Bunny

Book 4
by Beatrix Potter
Hardcover, 59 pages
Price: $7.99

Peter Rabbit may have learned his lesson about invading Mr. McGregor’s garden, but his cousin Benjamin Bunny has not. Benjamin is determined to retrieve the clothes Peter lost on his previous visit, and, being a persuasive companion, he convinces Peter to accompany him. At first, they are successful. They rescue Peter’s clothes from the scarecrow without much mishap, and Benjamin becomes quite cocky, eating lettuce and stealing onions. But when the McGregor’s cat appears, the two rabbits are in for a torturously long afternoon of hiding under a basket and wishing they’d never come into the garden. Though eventually they are rescued by Benjamin’s father, the pair has learned their lesson once and for all.

Peter Rabbit, the Nail Biting Sequel

Peter RAbbit is quite famous, but somehow, his madcap cousin Benjamin never made it to the limelight. Which is too bad, because he's a cute little madcap with this crazy teenage-rebel-esque plan to get the lost buttons and coat and shoes back from the garden. Then of course he gets overconfident and... you'll have to read the book for the tense finale. Okay, as tense as Potter gets anyway.
