The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. Little Bit, the youngest of six, is (just as his name suggests) a tiny mouse, much smaller than his siblings, and has much to prove. He stands up to a cat, broom, and cook—but when it comes to getting away from an owl, he finds he is happy to be tiny enough to fit in an acorn shell!
A fun, moralistic story—but even better are the beautiful full color illustrations by Feodor Rojankovsky, a prolific mid-century artist who illustrated numerous children books. The pen and ink illustrations are lovely.
