This collection of historical articles and documents of Seattle Washington is selected from newpaper articles by Paul Dorpat for the Seattle Times and focuses on the historical districts of Seattle from 1852 until the publishing date. It's a very entertaining and readable book comprised of short article-like segments. Many of these segments are accompanied by photographs from the neighborhoods they were written about, taken during the era of the story. Photos of contemporary views are also included to show the same place, many years later.
