Robert Tracy McKenzie Ph.D.

Tracy McKenzie, Ph.D., is Professor and Logan Chair of American History at the University of Washington. A recipient of UW's distinguished Teaching Award and a widely published author, he also sits on the board of directors of the Conference on Faith and History, a national organization of Christian historians. Dr. McKenzie and his wife, Robyn, have fourteen years' experience home-schooling their children, Callie, Margaret and Robert.

Dr. McKenzie's training and experience provide a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing homeschool families. The Center for Literary Education is proud to offer this resource to parents and teachers who want to learn how to think, and teach their children this crucial lesson at the same time.
