This early work is both expensive and hard to find in its first edition. It comprises a series of self-teaching lessons in rapid, plain, unshaded, coarse-pen, muscular movement writing for use in all schools, public or private, where an easy and legible handwriting is the object sought. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
