The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

The lean-to on the beautiful, wild mountain was a magic place for a boy and an old man to live. They had each other and the animals. But when the Old One fell ill, young Paco had to turn to the kind Spanish villagers in the valley below.

Paco learned to love his new family there, to love the village with its sunny streets and bright-blue doors. He almost forgot that other, freer world of the mountain—almost, not quite—until the day the animals called him.
