How Great Thou ART is a wonderful art curriculum for homeschoolers by Barry Stebbing (read the official Exodus review here). Every year he puts on art classes all over the country. Karen Espalin is hosting one this year. Mr. Stebbing hasn't been to Oregon in 12 years and feels this will probably be his last time.
The class is on Nov 5, 6, 7 from 9:00-11:30am each day and is only $30.00 for each student. Anyone 5 and up can register. There are actually people from 4 ½ years to 50+ already registered. Parents can take the class or they can just sit in the room and watch. If their kids are old enough to be left alone they can leave and come back to get them.
The class will be held at the Gladstone Park Conference Center (part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gladstone). It's easily accessible off of I-205.

2 ½ hours per session

Classes are for ages 5 to adult

Parents are encouraged to take the class for the same price as students

Students will need to bring a set of colored pencils & washable colored markers

All other supplies are provided
Barry Stebbing
Creator of How Great Thou ART Publications, has been traveling the United States and Canada with his wife Saundra, teaching beginning drawing and painting classes to homeschoolers for 15 years. It is estimated that they have personally instructed over 60,000 homeschoolers in this manner. The purpose of this course is to inspire these students to do good works, to show them that God has given each and every one of them the ability to create, and that drawing and painting are learned disciplines.
