Hello again! Long time, no see. Welcome back to the Exodus Newsletter. **

November is Picture Book Month!

Yes, you heard me right.

Picture. Book. Month.

Why would anyone dedicate an entire month to the celebration of picture books, you may ask? Our response is why not? Picture Book Month is an international literacy initiative that celebrates the print picture book during the month of November. In a world where the print medium is quickly dwindling (and some might even say dying out, though we disagree), Picture Book Month focuses on the joy of holding a printed picture book in your hands, the thrill of turning the pages to see what happens next. This festival is normally celebrated within libraries, but we didn’t want to miss out on the fun!

Over the years, we have built up quite the catalog of picture books here at Exodus, and our intention has always been to offer excellence. We don’t carry many of the popular “brand name” series; we don’t have anything from VeggieTales or Disney. Instead, we’ve curated a selection of Caldecott winners and classic picture books, as well as newer books that display artistic merit and quality composition. These are often a child’s first introduction to the wonderful world of books, and we want to offer your children the very best books we can find.

This month, we’d like to offer you a journey through the world of the picture book. On Instagram and Facebook, we are sharing our favorites all month. Stay tuned! You’re sure to see old friends, and hopefully discover some new titles.

Now, without further ado, we present 20 of the picture books we’re loving right now:
