June Newsletter| Decisions, Decisions

For months we've been giving vague answers to your questions about the future of Exodus Books. This is mostly because the future is unclear to us—there are so many considerations, and so many unknowns.

Well, we're nearly ready to reveal what's next. The options are all over the map: do we stay open at this location? do we stay open but at a different location? if so, where? do we close the storefront altogether and move to online-only? or is it finally time for Exodus to go the way of all flesh (or bookstores, in the 21st century) and simply close its doors for good?

Now that the various cats are out of the various bags and you know what kind of monumental decisions we're dealing with, we hope our lack of clarity is, if not more forgivable, at least more understandable. Keep an eye on your in-boxes: we don't like to overwhelm your email, but we'll be sending out a second June newsletter in about two weeks to let you know what's what.

In the meantime, be sure to browse our ongoing Project: Clearance for great titles at extra-low prices! And check out the new Sons of Korah CD, Fractures, an acoustic rock interpretation of several Psalms. And while we aren't doing our summer reading program this year, we are having our annual Fiction Sale starting now, so be sure to get your summer books while they're 15-20% off!

Just to reiterate: We will be here on McLoughlin Blvd. through October! And there will be answers, in a forthcoming June Newsletter v.2.0! Until then, stay calm and keep reading.

One final note: Due to the up-in-the-air nature of our existence, we'll continue to offer only in-store credit for your used books through the summer. Thanks for your understanding!
