God has greatly blessed Exodus over the past seven years.  We thank you for being a part of that blessing, and for taking an interest in this little store.  If you're reading this, you've found our new website (version 4), and this is our newest page, a page specifically devoted to letting you know the latest news, and keeping you posted on store specials.   Please feel encouraged to check back occasionally to see "what's up?"

    In the last three months, since Amanda and I were married, this store has experienced some pretty significant changes.  During March, we added a small warehouse.  This has enabled us to expand our middle room with more usable space, so we have brought all of our "fun" books into one room: the classics, children's books, comic and coloring books, as well as keeping the Christian books there.  We built some new bookcases for that room, giving it a more elegant look and feel.  We also moved eight bookcases to our used room, allowing us to display the used classics and children's books better, as well as giving more space to the home school helps section, arts & crafts, and science.

     Those are the in-store developments.  We hope to have some pictures of all this up soon.  But this site has been undergoing some major renovation too, as you've probably noticed if you've visited before.  First, it has a whole new, classier look.  Second, the search engine can be accessed from any page, with the advanced search engine also more readily available.  Third, that advanced search engine has been given more capabilities: we have added grade recommendations to our literature materials, as well as gender and "read-aloud" possibilities.  This should allow you to find a good specific list of reading books for any given student.  Fourth, we have added a rating and review system.  When looking at a book, you can give us (and everyone else) your opinion on it.  It's very easy to use, and we hope you take a minute now and then to give us your comments on specific books and curriculum. There have been other, more minor changes as well, all meant to increase the ease of use and enjoyment for browsing.  Hope you like them!
