The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

Marilyn was happy that she didn't have to spend her vacation modeling clothes in London with her mother, who was a famous dress designer. Instead she was bundled off to the White Cottage to stay with her nurse. The house next door, which had not been occupied in many years, had always been a mystery to her. When she found that it had been bought and that there were youngsters her own age living there, she couldn't wait to meet them and see the old house. They explored it together, and found secret passages, old silver from Cromwell's time, and had one exiting adventure after another. The mystery house fulfilled wishes magically for all the children, especially Marilyn!
