Experience thrilling adventures the Christian missionaries on these pages meet with witch doctors, disease, drought, hate-filled guerillas, a Bible thief, and killer cats! Best of all, each of these stories is based on actually happenings in the lives of real people.

Follow these missionaries as they respond to God's call, which leads some into miraculous escapes from danger, while others face martyrdom for Christ - but as soldiers of the Cross, they know that they have the victory in the end! "Our children could see God's great faithfulness as we read these precious stories of those who trusted in Him." -- Jay Trimble.

Be Inspired With These Missionary Stories
Albanyaloe of South Africa, 6/8/2011
This book is part of the Miller family series, written by Mildred Martin. All of the books are wonderful tools for character building in children, and this one is no exception. Exciting stories of famous missionaries will inspire the family and help them realise the faith that has assisted Gods' people in taking the gospel all over the world, despite difficulties. Due to some of the stories being very frightening, I'd reserve this for children over age 6, but even older sensitive children may be affected. As an adult, I also trully enjoyed this book.
