MFW World History & Literature

This one-year program is designed for 10th through 12th graders as a second, more thorough foray into history from the birth of Christ to modern times. As your students get older, these history programs are intended for students to do on their own. Discussion of materials and topics is encouraged through weekly meetings between parents and students. Students read through the entire New Testament, accompanied by thought-provoking books like Experiencing God: Youth Edition and More Than a Carpenter. In addition to the World History and Literature guide, students get a comprehensive view of Church and World history with timelines, maps, and books like Church History in Plain Language and History of the World. This program also features a complete Literature and Composition course, reading and analyzing classics like Julius Caesar, Pride and Prejudice, and Paradise Lost, and refining writing and research skills with Writers INC. From reading about the Christian heroes of the past to analyzing The Canterbury Tales, your student will be challenged and encouraged by these hand-picked materials and guides.
