“Who will help me plant the wheat?” says the little red hen. “Not I!” reply the dog, cat, and mouse who live with her a their little house. While her friends consistently decline to assist her, the little red hen proceeds to tend the wheat, harvest it, take it to be ground, and bake a cake out of it. “Who will help me eat the cake?” says the little red hen when the cake is ready. But as her three lazy companions scamper to partake of the cake, the hen doesn’t hesitate to point out that since she was the one who made it, she and only she would be the one to enjoy it. After that, the little red hen had three very eager helpers.

I like when she eats the cake. I like the when the animals get out of wherever they are. The lesson is you have to help otherwise you won't get the treat. I liked the pictures. I think you would like it if you read it.
