Lisa Tiffin

A 1992 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, Tiffin taught English and writing in public schools and also worked in the private sector designing and teaching courses.  Deciding to instead become involved with books, Tiffin took a position with a used book company and then became a book dealer on her own.  Her self-employment continued after the birth of twin boys, and then Tiffin completed her master's degree at SUNY Brockport, hoping some day to be an author.  The study of American literature encouraged her to focus all her energy on being a writer, and she gave up her book business.  She has since published articles for magazines, fictional work, and study guides for homeschoolers on classic titles such as Jack London's The Call of the Wild and Louisa May Alcott's Little Women.  Tiffin continues to write and enjoy her family from her home in New York.
