Judy Hindley, an American author, grew up with a vivid imagination. As a child, she loved stories, reading, and playing games of pretend, and she often wrote her own stories and plays for her friends. Now an adult, Hindley still loves to make up stories, and has written at least fifty books for children, including
Sleepy Places, Do As Duck Does!, and
Rosy's Visitors. She lives in England with her husband, an Englishman, and their two children.
