Joel Salatin

Joel Salatin
47 years ago, Joel Salatin's parents uprooted their family to a washed out farmstead in Staunton, Virginia. Now Salatin continues the work they began: changing the way America farms. He develops and puts into practice daring new farming methods that honor the Creator, support his family, and protect the enviroment. His innovations include pasturing poulty,  extensive pasture rotation for cattle, and natural pest control.
Possesing a Bachelor of Arts in English, Salatin is the author of several books, including Pastured Poulty Profits, You Can Farm: The Entrepeneur's Guide to Start and Suceed in a Farming Enterprise, and Family Friendly Farming: A Multi-Generational Home-Based Business Testament. He also lectures and speaks extensively and contributes to various publications.
