Joel Belz is founder of World magazine, which now claims the fourth largest circulation among all newsweeklies—behind only Time, Newsweek, and U.S. News & World Report. He also founded the God's World News children's magazines. He writes a weekly column for World, and is co-author of Whirled Views, a collection of columns, with Marvin Olasky. He is a close observer of the culture and a respected teacher and mentor to many who attempt to apply a biblical worldview to the craft of journalism.
