Sick of living in holes and in constant fear of the cat, Bouncer, his Rough Riding Rowdies, Jenny, Louise, and the rest of their mouse friends all decide to sail away and find an island all their own. They load the ship with chocolate waffles and coconut cherry cheese pie and set sail for a new life. After sailing many days and depleting most of their supplies, they finally come across the Island of the Skog. It seems perfect - except the sole inhabitant, the mysterious Skog. The mice set traps for this potentially dangerous Island dweller, but the Skog manages to evade them all, leaving only disturbingly large footprints behind. But when the mice finally set a trap that works, they are in for a even bigger surprise than they expected.
