From the owner...
 Exodus is my "baby" and I've
often been amused at the similarities between it and a small child. Both demand
so much time and attention, require so much guidance; both seem relatively small
and insignificant, but with so much potential. Well, Exodus has reached its
teen years, and as such is beginnning to take on a life of its own. Like a teen,
it's involved in more things; it wants to be taken a little more seriously; and
it wants to be considered intelligent and sophisticated...Like a teen, it may be
getting too big for its britches. You be the judge.
Welcome to our new website!
This site is an extension of our bookstore in Oregon City. We specialize in books
for "education, edification and enjoyment," and offer over 10,000 products, a fairly
carefully selected inventory of new and used home school materials, quality literature,
music, games, and Christian books and media of a Reformed persuasion.
One of the main services we offer is buying and selling used books. We offer a large
selection of used and pre-owned books and curricula, including A Beka, Bob Jones,
Saxon Math and many others. Rather than consigning used materials, we buy them outright,
which allows us to limit our selection to what we believe is truly useful. Currently,
we are adding our entire used inventory to the website.
Beyond that, this site is an attempt to blend our knowledge of products with a very
usable interface: easy to search, easy to browse; fun to read and interesting to
look at. We do our best to provide as much information about each product as possible,
including reviews, product descriptions and samples. Because we want to promote
education itself (not just our store), we are working to make this new site a portal,
with plenty of external links, biosketches of authors, and topic headings intended
to help you educate your children and yourself. Our goal is ambitious: we hope to
make this the most helpful and informative home school site on the web.
To that end, we can use your help! Please let us know if you have ANY suggestions.
We want to know if our descriptions are unclear or inaccurate; we'd like to hear
about other websites we should link to, we'd love it if you would write your own
