The pages are bound in a three ring binder, allowing you to add or remove pages as you wish, and the binder is expandable, so that as you paste in pictures and other things, it will absorb them without looking over-filled. (We've seen other timeline books that are not expandable, and they bulge as if water-damaged before too long). Also, the timeline sheets are in landscape (not portrait) format, allowing you to put more information in each time period. We consider this the best timeline notebook we carry.
