The colorful Student Text presents concepts with numerous examples and step-by-step explanations. At the end of each exercise set is a systematic cumulative review. For those considering the 2ndvs. the 3rd edition of the text, this is almost identical. The only difference is that the 3rd editon text has some (very occasional) practical application problems where this has a bit of extra white space. This edition will work just fine with the 3rd edition parts like teacher edition and tests.
