Born in 1928, Vincent later attended the Fine Arts Academy in Brussels, her hometown, to study painting and drawing. With encouragement from an editor, Vincent began writing books for children in 1981. An author and illustrator of the

A Day, A Dog. She has written both children's books and stories for young adults.
