Jensen's interests rest in the areas of education, grammar, and writing. He has taught in public and private schools as well as having taught his own children at home. Part of Jensen's success comes from teachers who helped him along his path in life, and it appears he has given back in kind. His dedication to education and his vast knowledge have made Jensen a common name in the world of language arts. By explaining concepts and rules and teaching students various basics, he believes they can move on in their understanding of how language works and apply it in writing. As Jensen said in an interview with Christian Book Distributors, "Grammar is a means to an end, not an end in itself."
Published by Wordsmiths, Jensen's Grammar, Jensen's Vocabulary, and Jensen's Punctuation are popular workbooks. More of his books include: Journey Through Grammar Land and Jensen's Format Writing. Jensen continues writing and serving others from his home in Southern Oregon.
