My whole family loves these books. For reading in our schooling at home we require oral reading. So, my seven year old has been reading one to two chapters of The Adventures of Reddy Fox. My four and five year olds love the "story time" and often name thier animals reddy or black the crow and so on. These books open up thier imagination and are a true living book!
