Yohn was a prominent illustrator at the turn of the nineteenth-twentieth centuries. In addition to Frances Hodgson Burnett, he illustrated books by Jack London, Kate Douglas Wiggin, Kathleen Norris, Mary Johnston, John Fox, Jr., Henry Cabot Lodge and many others. He also contributed to numerous magazines, including Scribner's, Harper's and Collier's.
