The teacher's manual is primarily a collection of chapter tests on the student text, and discussion topic suggestions. While this may be a useful tool if you're teaching this as a course (especially if you have several students), there isn't a whole lot of extra content or teacher support. Unfortunately, the companion CD has everything for the course but the tests, so if you really want them you're going to have to buy the teacher's manual.
