  A Horse With Heart
A Upton of San Antonio, 8/31/2016
The story is amazing, but the writing is not. This story is about a jumping champion who becomes an unlikely hero and inspires a nation. He came from a riding school and was older than most of the horses he beat. Snowman was in fact a old plow horse who, when he was sold, jumped fences numerous times. The last time he jumped a fence he brought the tire that had been tied to his halter with him! Although he cost only eighty dollars, he proved to be worth so much more. Unlike spirited horses, who always had nervous energy and were never calm before a show, Snowman always stood still and looked at the crowd. He was also a good lesson horse, because he had never ending patience, as well as a good teacher. Until the very end, Snowman was a loyal horse who gave his best.
