  Edward and the Pirates

Edward loves to read books. He reads everything. And he read a book about pirates and he takes the lead. What will happen next? This book is kind of exciting for the characters in it, and for you if you follow along.
  Edward Who Loves Books

I am glad that that this book has lots of poetry because I love poetry. The main character, Edward, loves pirates. This book is actually several short stories. They are all good stories. I will tell you about the middle story. It is about Edward reading in the night. He read about pirates. What I think (which may be true or may not be true) is that he fell asleep and had a really weird dream, but it might have actually happened, you never really know! This (what I think is a dream) was about pirates coming and asking for the book to find their missing treasure. Edward told them no because he checked it out at the library and it was due tomorrow. Just when the pirates got out their swords, the Mom and Dad came in, dressed in military clothes. The next part you HAVE to read because it is very exciting!
