Government 101 is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-teach guide on how the federal government works. It was written with homeschoolers in mind.

Government 101 presents the three branches of government (executive, legislative, judicial) and explains their functions in a concise, simple way. There is a section on how a bill becomes a law with a graphic demonstrating the process. Another section provides the reader with help on how to become involved in the legislative process.

The material in Government 101 can be used to teach the fundamentals of government to an eight-year-old. It can also be used as a primer and guide for the high school student.

Students can gain a firm understanding of the fundamentals of American government in five weeks. Materials are packaged in a handy plastic folder that fits into a three-ring binder.

A Quick Read In Federal Government Basics
TammyA of Oregon, 7/29/2010
Government 101 is a very quick and basic overview of our federal government system.

Ideal for younger students just beginning or a quick ramp up for older students who have never taken a government course but need to know the essentials quickly.

Excellent resource for team policy debate students who have not taken any form of federal government or who need a quick refresher.
