This is not a complete game, but a box of five random military miniatures. You need the starter set (which is not always available...) which contains the maps, rules and dice to really play. See my review for the full game here.
This package will contain 5 different units from the 60 miniatures in the North Africa set. The North Africa set contains German, Italian, UK (British, Australian), and US units. I like this set better than the Counter Offensive set, and its a little cheaper. But again, your need the starter set to really play.

My brother introduced me to this game, and I am completely hooked. We grew up playing Risk and the Axis & Allies board games, and this is just as fun, but much different. Okay, maybe even MORE fun!

There are many different miniatures available, and you don't know exactly what will come in each pack. The cool thing is that each miniature is a replica of a real vehicle or soldier from WWII, and each one has a corresponding card that describes the attributes of that piece, like defense rating, firepower at different ranges, and any special abilities or handicaps.

Another nice thing about the game is that you can control the playing time (more or less) by adjusting how many pieces you play with. If each player spends 100 points to buy their army, the game might only take 30 minutes, but if you spend 300 points, you might play for two hours or more.

It took several games for me to get a good understanding of the rules, which are fairly complex at first, but once you know how to play, it's lots of fun and moves pretty quickly.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys WWII history, playing with toy soldiers, or strategy games.
