Pickles is a young cat who wants to do big things with his big paws. But in his little yard there is nothing big to do. So instead he chases smaller cats up an old tree. Then he is adopted by the men of the firehouse and he must learn to be a good fire cat. At the firehouse he can finally do big things, including rescuing cats out of the very same tree that he used to chase them up.
