Grandmother and I

Grandmother’s lap is just right. Other people laps are good too. Mother’s laps are perfect for when you need your hair braided or your shoes tied. Father’s laps are good for when you want to be a cowboy or do tricks .Grandfathers’ laps are good for after you’ve been for a walk. But Grandmother’s lap is just right for when the cat’s been gone for two days, when lightning comes in the windows, when you have a bad cold, or when you don’t want to do anything but sit in a big chair and hum and rock back and forth.
