Clara loves to dance. All kinds of music goes straight to her feet, and she dances all over the house in front of anyone who will watch, even the cat. Then her new friend, Emily, tells her that she'll only be a real dancer if she goes to dancing class. But when Clara finally gets to Mrs. Lightbody's class, wearing her new leotard and ballet shoes, her feet don't act in quite the way she expects.
Young dancers and nondancers alike will sympathize with Clara's predicament in this appealing story.
