Jill Johnstone

An African missionary, Johnstone wrote You Can Change the World, a geographical reference book and prayer guide which has been described as a version of Operation World for children. Though passing away in 1992, Johnstone served as inspiration for Daphne Spraggett and Patrick Johnstone to write You Can Change the World Vol. II. Johnstone's name is again combined with Spraggett's for Window on the World which won the 2002 Gold Medallion for Elementary Age Children. This book serves as a prayer guide full of geographical, cultural, and political information about numberous foreign countries. It too works in conjunction with Operation World written by Patrick Johnstone and Jason Mandryk.
