A kaleidoscope of fifteen stories about United States history. Each story contains interesting and sometimes not well known facts, which help contribute to the enjoyment of the story. At the conclusion of each adventure, there are activities one can engage in: writing/journal, independent activities, and group discussions/activities. There is also a mini time line included with each story, as well as a paragraph describing what else was happening at the time.
