Michael Roydon is an award-winning illustrator and a native Oregonian. A lifelong northwesterner he has traveled to and through all the places in the Oregon alphabet book. He and author, Roland Smith, have been friends since they were both reading picture books. B is for Beaver is Michael's first children's book. B is also for Brenda, his wife; they live in Portland.
